Waite Maclin offers services to business, governmental, educational, medical, social service, and religious organizations for the purposes of staff development, team building, goal planning, mission development, improving communication and related concerns. The primary purpose of the consultation is to create a positive atmosphere for clear decision-making. Such services are based on prior information gathering in order to design events to fit the situation. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and Emotional Intelligence EQi-2.0® are often used, when applicable, to help individuals understand and appreciate their own strengths and those of others. From time to time Waite will collaborate with other consultants who have specific and unique skills that will be of value to the aims of the client.
Facilitation is the practice of supporting a group in conducting its meetings and reaching decisions. Because the facilitator’s efforts focus on the process (how decisions are reached) rather than the content (what decision is reached), we work to assist the process of creation without themselves being the producer of the end result.
Facilitation concerns itself with all the tasks needed to run a productive and impartial meeting. Facilitation serves the needs of any group who are meeting with a common purpose, whether it be making a decision, solving a problem, or simply exchanging ideas and information.
Let us help facilitate your next group or staff meetings.
We design and conduct workshops using the two instruments, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and Emotional Intelligence EQi-2.0®. We also offer workshops in such areas as stress management, conflict management, communication skills and performance management. Let us know your needs, and we'll create a workshop that's right for your business.
Each relationship begins with a meeting with the managers and core players. During this meeting, we learn their expectations and acquires a feel for the atmosphere of the organization.
Once we understand the organization's goals and can anticipate any training barriers, we begin the process of gathering information, which may involve face-to-face meetings and a written questionnaire.
We then design a training program for your business. The program outline is presented to the organization's leadership for evaluation and revision. On receiving the final approval, we begin the agreed upon training session.
